England Ladies fundraiser – River Rother, Bodium
On the Rother at Bodium today for a England ladies fundraiser.
I’ve drawn peg 16 which meant nothing to me having only been there once. I’ve set up 14m line tight over to fish hemp and maggot, 9m line with groundbait and a chop worm line.
I’ve started across and caught some chunky chublets, after 30mins I’ve gone on my gb line and had some small skimmers and a couple roach. A couple of boats have then gone through and killed my far lines😒 so I’ve concentrated on catching a bonus fish in the middle part of the match, however no signs of any big fish just a few more small skimmers.
The last hour I’ve gone back across and had a few more small chublets and roach.
I’ve ended up with 4lb 15oz which won the section🎉
