AT Talent Pathway – Ivy House Lakes
Been down to Ivy House lakes in Swindon today for the 2nd session of the talent pathway.
We had Dean Barlow coaching us for the day, we set all our gear up then Dean run us through gb mixes and how to approach the venue. I set up 2 long lines, one positive cupping in 2 balls and a negative line with just 1 small ball which I was going to start over, I also had a short line where I was loose feeding maggot. It started off really well catching nice stamp roach and the odd skimmer.
Throughout the day I switched between all my lines to keep fish going in the net. I ended up with 6 skimmers and loads of roach for a nice 10-12lb. The main thing was we all learnt loads and thanks to Dean for all his tips and help!
